Adventure Club: Survival Skills Level 2
August 9 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
One event on 18/10/2018 at 10:00am
If Ray Mears or Bear Grylls are your child’s heroes, then they’ll love our Level 2 Survival Skills all-day session where we go from the basics learned in Level 1 Survival Skills to more advanced ways of surviving safely in the outdoors.
(Please note, if you child did not attend the Level 1 sessions, they can still participate, but we encourage children to learn the basics in Level 1).
The Adventure Club teaches outdoor skills in a fun yet challenging way to kids ages 7 and up. Ranging from building shelters to making fire, learning how to navigate to staying safe in the outdoors, the Club also links strongly to the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence, particularly in developing maths and science skills.
During the school holidays, the Holiday Adventure Club runs for 4 consecutive days, with each day themed around:
- Shelter Building
- Fire Making
- Survival Skills
