Rites of Passage

Built around the “rite of passage” into adulthood of the young warrior, the course involves novices learning life long skills from their ‘elders’, in a sacred ceremony, which in time they can pass down to their next generation.

Rites of Passage is a two day, three night course. It is a non-competitive, frequently life -changing group experience, giving confidence in outdoor survival and awareness of the environment.

The culmination of the course is the solitary journey into the wilderness to prove oneself – only returning when successful, to the acclaim and respect of the waiting group of friends or family.

There then follows much celebrating around the fire!

A successful fire

Rites of Passage are often provided as alternative stag / hen parties, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, coming of age, and team building activities. They are an opportunity to celebrate an occasion in a meaningful way with friends and family.
